Mercia Management are a private training provider, with a government contract for the delivery of training within an apprenticeship framework. Mercia Management do NOT employ you directly. We are the link between the employer, the Apprentice, the College you will attend and the Funding agency.
Your journey with us starts when you contact us to express your interest in an Apprenticeship. Mercia will then invite you to attend an initial assessment session during which you will be:
- Asked for your GCSE certificates

Asked to complete assessments so that we can determine your start point for Key skills

Asked to complete an application form (if not already completed)
-
Given information about how an Apprenticeship works
-
Given Advice and Guidance on what to do and what happens next.
Mercia Management will then, through our ongoing relationship with employers in the west midlands try to help you to find a placement. Mercia will commit to sending your details to all employers that we know are looking for someone just like you.
Mercia will advise you if we have passed on your details and to whom.
Should you be successful, Mercia will then work with you and your employer to initially achieve the following:

Correct completion of all required paperwork to secure the funding

The completion of an Individual learning plan

To fully explain the learning process moving forward

To ensure that all parties involved fully understand and agree to all aspects of the learning
Mercia Management will then support you throughout your apprenticeship by assigning you an Assessor who will be able to advise you on all aspects of your Apprenticeship.
